On the 3rd June, the Macedonian NGO "Journalists for children and women rights and protection of environment" in collaboration with the Macedonian Union of Women Organizations organised a round table entitled " Women force in the proces of voluntary disarmament in Macedonia". There were 30 participants representing local and international NGOs, political parties, experts and media. The Guest Speaker was Prof. Biljana Vankovska, security expert and Liljana Popovska vice president in Macedonian Parliament. T-shirt distribution symbolised support from IANSA and in this way women from Macedonia joined the rest of the world marking a day of disarmament. From this round table we send message to all the women of the world to join the action for disarmament because all of us need LIFE WITHOUT WEAPONS.
