| Andronicus Q Johnson (Excutive Director discussed the danger of the proliferation of small arms and light weapons at the GW Gibson senior high school during the IANSA Global Week of Action. NAMOD took the opportunity to collect photos and signature for the Million Faces petition. |

| NAMOD also addressed a cross section of students in the political palava hut at the University of Liberia during the week. |

7 July 2004 - New Covenant Church (Kakata Margibi County) Pastor Cole W Tiaklan addressed the congregation on the dangers of the proliferation of smalls and light weapons in a post-conflict country like Liberia. He stated that guns undermines democracy, create instability, and pose a threat to the economic status of the country.
In addition, guns have created victims in Liberia, where the young and old women were raped, property was looted and destroyed, and many were left homeless. Pastor Tiaklan asked the Government to control the proliferation and misuse of small and light weapons. |
