| The National Small Arms Forum (NSAF) and South Asia Partnership-Bangladesh organised rallies in Dhaka and in 21 districts in Bangladesh for the Week of Action. The rally in Dhaka began from the Dhanmondii Boys High School and ended at T&T Bhaban at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar followed by the submission of a memorandum (could you convert the memo to PDF and link here?) to the Prime Minister. Other districts too submitted a memorandum to the District Commissioner to be handed over to the Prime Minister. The memorandum urged the Prime Minister to take steps to curb the indiscriminate use of illicit small arms. |
