5 -6 June: A stall put up by South Asia Small Arms Network - Sri Lanka (SASA Net) at the Sri Lanka Nature Forum Annual Exhibition organised by the UNDP drew about 10,000 students and adults, of which more than 2000 visited the Control Arms stall. The exhibition was held at Samanala Grounds in Galle, South of Sri Lanka. There were 65 stalls by 37 organisations depicting the damages to the environment. The SASA Net stall exhibited posters and photos that illustrated damage to the environment caused by arms. Volunteers at the stall distributed 2000 handbills on arms control and also collected 153 photos for the Million Faces Petition.

8 June: SASA Net Sri Lanka was interviewed by 'Swadeshiya Sewaya', a Sinhalese language programme by the Sri Lanka Broadcasting Cooperation (SLBC), the national radio station in Sri Lanka. The discussion centred around the small arms problem in Sri Lanka with an overview to the situation in South Asia and implementing the UN PoA. The radio programme was open to questions from listeners.
