‘How I Wonder…Concert for Alistair Grimason'
Featuring Acoustic performances by:-

The Proclaimers
Ricky Ross
The Pearlfishers and guests

Date: Sunday 29 Feb 2004
Time: 8pm
Venue: Carnegie Hall, East Port, Dunfermline.
Box Office: Telephone: 01383 314000
Ticket Price: £20

This concert has been organized to raise funds to help support travel and other costs associated with David and Ozlem Grimason's journeys to Turkey to attend the trial surrounding the circumstances of their son's death from a stray bullet as he slept in his push chair. The trial will have at least five ‘sittings' and clearly the travel costs will be hugely expensive for them. This concert can at least ease that financial burden.

The artists, like many people around the country were greatly affected by this tragic event. They have all agreed to give their services ‘free' for the concert – a uniquely generous gesture and one that has been warmly appreciate by David and Ozlem.

David Grimason said that whilst people on hearing of Alistair's death wanted to give them money, he thought a concert was a better way of helping their situation and that people got ‘something in return for their money'.

We all hope people will come along to not only show their support for David and Ozlem but to also enjoy a fantastic evening of music.

Tickets are limited and are available on a first come first served basis from the Carnegie Hall Box Office (01383 314000) on Wednesday 7 January at 10pm.
