Letters were sent by to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as the Prime Minister by members of Amnesty International - Israel.

National media coverage, including the Al-Balad newspaper and in the National News Agency followed the press conference organised by the Permanent Peace Movement (PPM) on 12 September. The press conference was part of a workshop on the roleof youth in small arms control in Lebanon. On 14 September, Tele-Lumiere interviewed Fadi Abi Allam (left in photo) of PPM. Fadi will also be interviewed following the screening of a documentary on small arms in Lebanon on Future TV, 18 September.
