Million Faces across Canada
At public events in cities across the country on 16 March, Control Arms campaigners kicked off a drive to mobilise public support to end the global threat of gun violence. At public venues in St. John's, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Edmonton and Vancouver, volunteers signed people up to the Million Faces petition, whilst volunteer artists sketched people's faces. The Campaign is also asking Canadians to write to Foreign Minister Peter MacKay.
