Cambodia: Collecting Million Faces

Campaigners collected more than 2 500 photos for the Million Faces petition on 28 May near a crowded riverside in Phnom Penh City. Almost 100 volunteer students from universities and youth groups worked with Working Group for Weapons Reduction staff posting these photos on a large white canvas.

There was also a live music band to attract the crowds. Click here to see more photos from the day.

The event received a variety of press including Kos Santepheap, Cambodia Daily, Rasmey Kampuchea, Kampuchea Thmei, Rasmei Sereypheap, AKP newspaper, VOA Radio, TV5, and CTN TV.

In total, Cambodian volunteers have collected almost 90,000 photos to date!
