On 1 June, we commemorated the first anniversary of the ‘Cumbria shootings’, when a licensed gun-owner shot and killed 12 people and grievously injured 11 others with a .22 rifle and a shotgun.

Twelve people were killed and 25 injured in Cumbria (northwest UK) by a gunman who then committed suicide on 2 June.

On 13 March we commemorate the anniversary of the Dunblane primary school shooting in Scotland, in which 16 small children and their teacher lost their lives.
