Arms control event in India

During a conference held in Nagpur (India), 82 scientists, engineers and researchers from different regions of India were briefed on the national and international initiatives to promote stronger firearms regulation and to ban landmines and cluster munitions. IANSA member Balkrishna Kurvey gave a presentation about civil society initiatives in India and the role that scientists could play in the campaign to control small arms.
