Finland: Ban on semiautomatic handguns proposed

This week a Finnish government commission proposed a ban on semiautomatic handguns after two school shootings in recent years left 20 people dead. The ban, which still needs parliamentary approval, seeks to reduce the number of legal weapons in civilian hands.
