Ecuador: Students and teachers decorate mural for peace and disarmament

In Ecuador, IANSA member SERPAJ is organising a 4-day workshop on gun violence prevention at a school in San Lorenzo. The event will conclude on 18 June with students and teachers drawing and writing messages on a mural which will be displayed publicly and shown to local authorities. The same activity will be organised in 12 other countries in Central and South America by members of the Latin American Coalition for Gun Violence Prevention (CLAVE). Photos from the 13 national murals will be put together to form an online wall symbolising the will to work together for peace and disarmament in the region.
