Week of Action 2011 in Senegal: Pilgrims support a strong Arms Trade Treaty (ATT)

The Senegalese Action Network on Small Arms (RESAAL) is holding a variety of activities along the route of a famous pilgrimage in Popenguine, Senegal. The pilgrimage brings together 100,000 people every year from Senegal and neighbouring countries. RESAAL, joined by a variety of religious organisations, carried a large banner on which they collected signatures in support for arms control and a strong Arms Trade Treaty (ATT). The banner with all signatures collected will be displayed to the public at the end of the Week.
