New paper on small arms imports

A new research paper from the Small Arms Survey gives an overview of states’ small arms imports in the last decade. It finds that the US was the largest importer, receiving small arms at a value of around $1 billion per year, followed by Canada, France, Germany, Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom, which each imported small arms worth more than $100 million a year.
