Over 4000 people joined the Million Faces during the Perugia-Assisi peace march

In a week of intense activity, activists from Italy's Rete Disarmo convinced over 4000 Italians to sign the Million Faces petition supporting an international Arms Trade Treaty.

Events included:

  • a Control Arms checkpoint along the route of the Perugia-Assisi peace march (11 September 2005)
  • an artistic performance and exhibition at the Termini railway station in Rome (8-10 September 2005)

An international Arms Trade Treaty would stop arms sales when the weapons are likely to be used in human rights abuses or increase regional instability. Click here to join the Million Faces petition.
