| Italy: Thousands sign up to Control Arms |
Over 4000 people joined the Million Faces during the Perugia-Assisi peace march |
In a week of intense activity, activists from Italy's Rete Disarmo convinced over 4000 Italians to sign the Million Faces petition supporting an international Arms Trade Treaty.
Events included:
- a Control Arms checkpoint along the route of the Perugia-Assisi peace march (11 September 2005)
- an artistic performance and exhibition at the Termini railway station in Rome (8-10 September 2005)
