Argentinian Network Launched

The IANSA Director, Rebecca Peters, and the Head of Government of Buenos Aires, Aníbal Ibarra during one of the many media appearances she made during the week of the launch of the Argentinian network, Red Argentina para el Desarme, on November 17. She also met with the Minister for Education, Daniel Filmus.

"Gun laws are top of the legal and social agenda in Argentina at the moment," Ms Peters said. "The Government's representatives were particularly interested in IANSA's views, and the experience of our members in tackling the problem around the world. Our input was clearly valued for the special perspective we can bring to the issue of gun law reform".
