Nollywood star calls for Control Arms
Dickson Orji (Director of NANSA), Dakore Egbuson (Actress/singer), Aigbe Joachim (NANSA) and Fiade Olugbenga (NANSA)

Thursday 19 January 2006 – The famous actress Dakore Egbuson joined the launch of the Control Arms report Voices from Sierra Leone in Gubabi Royal Hotel (Abuja).

The report was launched by the Nigeria Action Network on Small Arms – NANSA.

Dakore Egbuson and Dickson Orji called on Nigeria and West African people and governments to support the conversion of the ECOWAS Moratorium on Small Arms into a legally binding convention and to sign as well as ratify the global Arms Trade Treaty on the sale and transfer of arms.

The launch was covered by Radio Nigeria, Capital FM, Ray Power Radio, Africa Independent Television Nigeria, Africa Independent Television International.
