The latest newsletter from the Southern Africa Development Community Council of Non Governmental Organizations (SADC-CNGO) includes a statement condemning recent violence against protesters in Malawi as “a direct contravention of the United Nations Basic Principles on the use of force and fire arms by Law Enforcement Agencies”.
