Summaries from the General Debate of the UN First Committee, October-November 2011

The First Committee on Disarmament and International Security of the UN General Assembly is taking place from 3 October to 1 November 2011 at UN Headquarters in New York. IANSA staff and members are present to follow proceedings, meet with state delegations and contribute to the discussions that are relevant to our work. IANSA will also be contributing regularly with articles and information about small arms to the First Committee Monitor, an initiative by Reaching Critical Will of Women’s International League for Peace and Freedom (WILPF).
