New resolution highlights women in disarmament

A resolution on women, disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control was passed on 27 October. Trinidad and Tobago introduced the resolution, which recognises the valuable contribution of women to practical disarmament and encourages the promotion of equal representation and participation of women in all decision-making processes on disarmament, non-proliferation and arms control.
