West Africa: Charles Taylor arrested for war crimes
Charles Taylor, former president of Liberia, was extradited to Sierra Leone from Nigeria on 29 March. The Special Court for Sierra Leone has charged Taylor with war crimes, including supporting armed groups during the conflict in Sierra Leone. |

Russian campaigner threatened: urgent action needed
