Nepal: Report on police misuse of guns
As the security situation in Nepal worsens, civilians are being shot by both the insurgents and the police. Several IANSA members belong to the Human Rights Treaty Monitoring Committee, which has been investigating several shootings and urges all armed factions to uphold international law. The shootings by police have continued, with another civilian shot dead on 9 April.
