Women’s Network Action Plan
The Women’s Network aims to coordinate organisations working on women and gun violence to facilitate their access to small arms processes such as disarmament, women’s and human rights meetings. This would include the preparation of statements for dissemination at intergovernmental and NGO meetings; identification of particular events relevant to advancing the issues of concern to the Network; and mobilization around unexpected opportunities. Within IANSA, the Network aims to encourage greater awareness and inclusion of women’s rights, and gender issues into the core activities of the network.
