Stop gun violence against women

8 March is International Women’s Day, an opportunity to raise awareness of the challenges to gender equity and women’s rights around the world. In many societies – both in war zones and in so-called ‘peaceful’ contexts – armed violence continues to seriously undermine women’s rights, security, and development.
